Personal Style & Colour Workshop in Lynnwood: A Day of Confidence, Connection, and Style

On Thursday, 17 July, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a private Image, Style & Colour Workshop in Lynnwood, Pretoria, for a special group of five incredible women — a mother and her four daughters.

This interactive and personalised workshop was designed to help each woman understand how to dress in a way that flatters her unique features and expresses her personality with confidence and ease.

Understanding Body Shape: Style That Fits You

We began the day by determining each woman’s individual body shape using precise measuring techniques. Once we identified their silhouettes, I shared tailored styling tips for each shape — helping them understand which clothing cuts, fabrics, and proportions best suit their natural lines.

The goal? To help every woman in the room feel more confident in her skin — not by changing her shape, but by dressing to enhance it.

Colour Direction: Wearing the Colours That Light You Up

Next, we moved into the colour analysis session, where I determined each client’s personal colour direction. This process involves identifying the colour tones that harmonise best with their skin tone, eye colour, and hair. Whether soft and muted or bright and bold, the right colours can make your entire appearance look more radiant, energised, and refined.

Every woman left with a deeper understanding of her ideal colours and how to use them in both clothing and accessories to elevate her everyday and occasion wear.

A Workshop Rooted in Confidence, Connection & Practical Style

What made this session truly special was the bond between the women — seeing a mother and her daughters explore personal style together was a reminder that fashion can be a powerful tool for both self-expression and connection.

The day was filled with laughter, lightbulb moments, and a lot of love — and each client walked away with practical tools, style insights, and renewed confidence in how they present themselves to the world.
